About the role
Our Security Remediation team is growing and looking for Senior IT Technical Advisor to join a very talented team. Our team's role is to ensure a strong security posture of our endpoints and virtual environments, proactively reduce and eliminate risks and support a strong cybersecurity culture and governance for Intact Financial Corporation. You will have the opportunity to work with specialized and dedicated colleagues to shape the future of our company with a strong knowledge, attention to detail, structure and innovative mindset, leveraging current and emerging technologies. You will also be called upon to offer support and guidance to our other IT teams.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior IT Technical Advisor to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge in the management and administration of Windows and virtual Windows environments, as well as solid experience in the deployment, optimization and troubleshooting of our platforms
What you'll do here:
Management tool administration: Support the management and administration of SCCM, InTune and JAMF environments.
Deployment and Configuration: Package and deploy applications. Configure and deploy compliant policies to workstations. Process automation.
Evaluate workstations for compliance and safety. Plan, design and implement workstation-related projects
Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of the SCCM system, as well as workstations to ensure an optimal user experience.
Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex issues related to the Windows environment, including Level 3 incidents.
Security: Ensure the security of the SCCM infrastructure. Deploy and maintain workstation security standards according to industry best practices or company security standards.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the SCCM environment, Intune and workstations
Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor junior members of the IT team on best practices and technologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, network and security teams to ensure the integration and harmonization of workstations in the IT ecosystem.à
What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Windows specialist or administrator.
Mastery of SCCM, InTune, AD, Microsoft store, AutoPilot CyberArk products. Proficiency in Windows, Windows Server, MacOS operating systems and virtualization environments also desired.
Good experience in Scripting (Powershell)
Knowledge of MAC is an asset
Relevant Microsoft certification strongly desired.
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems effectively and efficiently.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
