IT Technical Project Manager / Project Engineer

Your role  

Support the OT Services Deployment Coordinator to develop the schedule and deliverables for assigned deployment projects. 

Work closely with the Vessel operations teams and regularly perform site visits to clarify IT infrastructure requirements, including installation locations, power provisioning, cabling, and patching. Create associated site visit reports. 

Specify, prepare, configure and test the necessary IT infrastructure equipment, ensuring compliance with IT standards and standard solution designs. 

Develop site-specific installation and commissioning plans and perform onsite installation and commissioning of IT infrastructure equipment. Work closely with Vessel team while onsite and provide daily progress reports. 

Work closely with the support team to provide all required deliverables for seamless handover, and collect lessons learned to improve standard solution design instructions and the overall deployment process. 

 

Your track record 

You have a degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a relevant field; 

You have affinity and experience with technical project management; 

You have practical experience with the deployment of IT network and systems (servers, storage) infrastructure; 

You are pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and a responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking responsibilities; 

You have effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing; 

You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral;
