Detailed Job Description:
A test lead is required for the team to lead the following: -
• Create a coherent test strategy for the overall solution, across integration, infrastructure, reporting, for both functional and non-functional tests.
• Build test automation reporting and visualization dashboards, that can display the overall health of the solution, across the above testing dimensions.
• Oversee a team of SDETs (primarily) and one or two manual testers (for parts of the solution that may not be automatable) across remote locations.
• Own the test strategy, and conversations with the Technology team, to ensure all concerns, regarding proving the health of the solution prior to deployment is addressed.
• Interface with internal IT&S teams across BP, for example, the cloud service line, the performance testing team, the Digital Security testing team, and other engineering teams.
• Lead the testing of the solution, along with the team – we do not expect a manager, but in addition a doer, once the test strategy is delivered, you will be expected to be a member of the testing team doing the testing.
