How you make a difference

The Regional IT Technician will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support for the regional Information Technology (IT) department, ensuring smooth daily operations of IT systems and equipment. They will also coordinate with regional IT technicians to resolve technical issues, track equipment inventory, and maintain accurate records. The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the regional IT team and ensuring efficient IT operations within the company's designated region.



Key Responsibilities Responds to and handles technical support requests in a professional manner, keeping staff informed of updates and changes to their computers.Troubleshoots and resolves IT hardware and software problems, including installations and transfers of computer data, based on standard or specific/custom criteria established by Home Office IT. Maintains complete inventory of all IT equipment on campus, including A/V equipment, and ensures compliance with corporate standards and configurations.Sets up and troubleshoots A/V equipment for conferences held at the facility and identifies potential issues with facility computer systems.Collaborates with Home Office IT teams to ensure system compliance with patching and security programs and provides Level 1 support for 8x8 telephony at Regional Office(s), escalating to Home Office IT when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

Two (2) years of experience in the use of personal computers and information systems. 

Licenses/Certifications

Community college or trade school certification in computers or information services preferred.
