Position Highlights: The IT Technician maintains the computer and network systems of the IE-SD organization. Their duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, setting up computer networks and assisting employees and customers with IT-related problems including planned, scheduled and implemented network hardware and software maintenance requirements and upgrades. Position Responsibilities: Set up workstations with computers and install necessary operating systems, peripherals, and software computer hardware (HDD, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.) Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes, maintenance schedule and asset list Provides technical direction and recommendations to improve utilization Assists with testing of new release of software, vendor modifications, upgrades and patches Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders Provides technical support at division site and construction locations including setting up computers, iPads, cell phones, printers, AV equipment and network equipment Setting up New Home Galleries – computer stations, BDX kiosk on interactive TV, printer, etc. Device management of employees in office and field (ipads, laptops, etc.) Zoom phone line set up Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field required A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills Excellent communication ability Outstanding organizational and time-management skills In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: The expected Base Salary range for this position is between $31.25-$46.00 per hour, equivalent to $64,900-95,700 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
