It Technology Analyst / Senior Analyst / Specialist / Leader

 

Purpose: The Second-Level Desktop Support Analyst provides technical assistance and expertise in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of desktop infrastructure and related technologies. This role ensures the stability, performance, and security of desktop systems while aligning with corporate IT strategies and standards. The analyst will act as a key point of contact for resolving complex technical issues and supporting the implementation of new technologies within the Desktop Support area.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Provides second-level technical support for desktop systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. Assists in the implementation of new technologies and improvements to existing desktop infrastructure. Collaborates with project teams to ensure desktop solutions align with corporate IT strategies and standards. Monitors and maintains desktop systems to ensure information accessibility, availability, performance, and integrity. Supervises and documents infrastructure changes, ensuring they are reflected in the Disaster Recovery Plan when applicable. Develops and implements procedures for the maintenance and updating of desktop systems. Provides IT advice and consulting to end-users and other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. Ensures compliance with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations. Protects facilities, equipment, and other physical resources assigned to the area from damage, theft, or misuse. Acts as a liaison between first-level support and higher-level IT teams to escalate and resolve issues efficiently. Conducts training and knowledge-sharing sessions for first-level support staff to improve overall team capabilities.
