Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

Supporting applications to perform enterprise software service infrastructure design, installations, administration and configuration. Perform SQL database integrations and build SQL clustered server implementations, data migrations, as well as database and server performance optimizations. Working with production support teams to deliver defect troubleshooting and delivery of solutions/fixes will be required. Participating as an influencer within project teams delivering quality sustainable enterprise services is expected. It is expected that the profile works without guidance to solve complex technical issues encompassing all technologies in this description. In this role, you will participate on IS projects following Agile practices working with other Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, and Programmer Analysts, providing application and infrastructure consulting, designing, testing, and implementation.

Skills and experience:

Strong proficiency with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 Administration Strong proficiency on SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 Administration, SQL Database Administration/Integration. Microsoft Certifications an added advantage 3 - 4 years of Experience with Inventory Management, Active Directory integration, VM provisioning & configuration, Web application support and troubleshooting 3-4 years of work experience with web application support/deployment, IIS Administration Experience in virtual server environments, Cloud Computing, Software/DB as a service, and basic LAN/WAN experience are all a plus Able to perform data migrations, data replication, ETLs, database and server optimizations a plus. Strong MSSQL experience Database administration - managing indexes, SQL server health, Linked servers, security, Always On Clusters, TDE encryption Transact SQL - moving data from one system to the other, analyzing data, writing adhoc queries Firewall design Enterprise application patching Version Management and building and maintaining path to production environments Strong technical writing skills which will be used documenting IT service support manuals and operations support scripts to enable effective sustainability. Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision Superior customer orientation and teamwork Experience delivering sustainable IT services Excellent communication skills Experience in PLCs, SCADA, Niagara applications and BMS implementations will be a plus
