API Connect – Job Description Experience in architecting and configuring IBM API Connect suite (API Manager / Developer Portal) Install, Upgrade, Maintain IBM DataPower Appliances (on-prem and Cloud, preferably AWS) Install, Upgrade, Administer IBM API Connect (on-prem and Cloud, preferably AWS) Setting up Gateway / DataPower as API Gateway in Cloud Environment Broad knowledge of web security standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.) Experience in implementing API security using oAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML etc Experience deploying systems using containers (OpenShift) Experience architecting and deploying DataPower gateways in multiple network zones Experience troubleshooting deployments and traffic on DataPower Gateways through multiple networks in Cloud environment Implement Best Practices for HA and Security Implement Logging and App monitoring mechanisms Build and Maintain CICD pipelines for DataPower and APIC activities Experience in providing solutions in the area of security and authentication, tokenization, Open Banking, API Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs Understanding of differences between SOA and API design
