Detailed Job Description:

10+ years of experience on Vertica database Administration Well versed in DB administration in Vertica 8.x and 9.x including configuration, upgrades and Node management Experience in DB2 (DPF), Hadoop would be added advantage Experience in performance tuning and resolve bottlenecks in CPU, memory, disk I/O and network related issues Perform database and query performance tuning and upgrades Perform general technical troubleshooting and give recommendation to application team Experience in Capacity Planning on database Must have Shell Scripting experience and Agile environment is a plus Experience in VMC tool Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
