Platform/Environment: Vertica running on Redhat OS on physical/virtual enviroment Database Management System: Vertica 8.x & 9.2, VMC tool What will this resource be doing? DB Support, DB Config along with Design and Development What outcome or deliverables are expected at the end of this assignment? Detailed documentation of activities performed in terms of design ,development, configuration and support Vertica database administration including configuration, upgrades and Node management Experience in performance tuning and resolve bottlenecks in CPU, memory, disk IO and network related issues Must have experience to work with analysts on partitioning, segmentation, partition swapping, and querytuning Must have Shell Scripting experience and Agile environment is a plus Experience in supporting Data Warehouse environments Experience in DB2 with DPF environment would be plus Excellent communicat
