Administration of Big Data Appliance Managing Operations Using Cloudera Manager (e.g. monitor jobs, services, security, health of the system, performance metrics) Managing Cloudera Services (HDFS, Hbase, Hive, Hue, Impala, Kafka, Oozie, Solr, Flume, Spark, YARN, ZooKeeper, etc.) Capacity Management and Planning of the Appliance Managing User Accounts and Security on BDA Monitoring multiple clusters using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) & Hadoop monitoring utilities Performing patching & upgrades of Cloudera updates Hadoop Engineering activities experience Managing CDSW (Cloudera Data Science Workbench) Services for Data Science use Working with Oracle Support Services to resolve any open issues Good to have skills: Splunk Administration
