Minimum 2 years of Cognos version 11.x. Experience with Cognos 10.x to 11.x upgrade is preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in Cognos configuration and administration 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server database versions 2012 or later Proficient in complex SQL scripting and working with very large data sets. Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, SSRS, SSAS, Snowflake is preferred Experience or academic exposure to MongoDB, MongoDB BI connector is preferred. MongoDB production experience is preferred. Familiar with database design best practices Detail oriented with ability to independently validate / triangulate data and analysis. Ability to prioritize multiple requests while completing deliverables on time. Self-motivated and can work independently. Ability to troubleshoot, track, and resolve day-to-day issues. Passion for excellence and continuous improvement. Knowledge of production support processes such as incident and problem management techniques. Knowledge and experience using agile software development principles, process and tools. Proficient interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills, in addition to customer service skills in order to provide end user/business owner systems support.

Education & Experience: Required knowledge and skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field plus 3 to 5 years related experience.
