Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 6 years of experience with Information Technology. 6+ years of hands on recent C, C++, PL/SQL experience 6+ years of SQL – development with SQL concepts, NOT database administration 2+ years of JavaScript, JQuery, Spring framework, Java Lightweight web development – read and modify existing or create new basic web tools Unix Shell Scripting –Unix commands and shell scripts Telecommunications – basic telecom concepts Solaris and Linux – strong user skills, NOT system administration

Good to have:

Familiarity with CI/CD and following tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Jira Knowledge of software development in DevOps and Agile Working knowledge of collaboration tools like Confluence Solid understanding of deployed Verizon Wireless networks and alarming Network Management experience/exposure for IP, Transmission, Switching, Transport
