Detailed Job Description:

Responsible for monitoring, triaging, resolving, escalating and communicating network incidents/outages as part of a 24x7x365. Perform third level incident outage triage, troubleshooting, and fix agent break fix actions on Cisco network infrastructure. Provide detailed documentation and summaries of incident/outage tickets. Ability to work an extended and flexible 24x7 day and night work schedule is required. Network Administration Knowledge of IP stack protocols and routing protocols Remote support for network infrastructure ranging from minimal up/down to advanced level routing and switching troubleshooting on carrier grade routers/switches. Escalation to engineering teams as needed. Linux Troubleshooting specialized carrier grade network devices running Linux on their core. Minimal application logging investigation on some Linux servers.
