SUMMARY
As part of Corporate Processes and Information Technology (CPIT), the IT Strategic Central Services (SCS) team provides end-to-end strategy support. This includes driving all cascading efforts of the organization’s strategic direction, based on SAP’s corporate goal of delivering and running The Intelligent Enterprise. One of the SCS key areas is Software Asset Management (SAM).
As a Specialist in SAM Compliance team, you will report to the SAM Compliance Manager. We are looking for an experienced professional in software compliance and software license management with a profound understanding of software asset lifecycle processes. You will focus on running with SAM compliance operations, and participating in strategic initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of objectives to optimize SAP third-party software portfolio and sustain SW compliance.
THE ROLE
Execute based on SCS strategy and in accordance with SAP Global IT Asset Management Policy. Ensure Software Asset Compliance assurance by mitigating potential risks associated with the use of 3rd party software. Drive continuous improvements of existing Software Asset Compliance processes i.e., enforcement of SAP Global IT Asset Management Policy, software compliance campaigns, software evaluations. Build and maintain sustainable relationships with other key stakeholders across SAP. Act as a trusted advisor on Software Compliance topics for all third-party software users at SAP.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
University Degree in Business Informatics / Business Administration/ Computer Science / Informatics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Engineering or equivalent experience Knowledge of Software Asset Management process operations & controlling Training & certification in Agile practices or Lean Six Sigma to support service transformation Experience in working in a complex, matrixed organization while maintaining collaborative partnerships Profound interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills in English to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management alike Affinity towards IT with a strong analytical mindset (Business Analysis/Data Analysis) Proficient user of MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint), Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps
