We are seeking a diligent and service-oriented User Experience professional for our new factory in Lexington, North Carolina. This role is best suited for individuals passionate about technology and eager to learn about IT tools, systems, and processes. The position involves a dynamic problem solver focused on problem-solving, addressing challenges, and managing a variety of IT tasks.
As an entry-level IT professional providing frontline support, the successful candidate will assist Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock and Customer Services businesses, catering to users with varying degrees of IT proficiency. While a deep technical foundation and a desire to learn, implement, and support technology are essential, we also offer comprehensive training and development opportunities. These resources are designed to enhance your skills, ensure stable and effective business operations, minimize disruptions, and support our Mobility Rolling Stock and Customer Services businesses in Lexington.
What your day-to-day will look like:Collect, categorize, analyze, and resolve incidents to prevent business disruptions. Identify, research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues – own until resolution is achieved.Ensure effective utilization of existing workplace IT solutions and stay informed about new technologies relevant to the business. Build and install new employee workstations and conduct onboarding tutorials.Establish and maintain application-focused Key-User communities, providing them with necessary access, support, and guidance in the IT environment.Deliver training on IT-supported offerings to enhance user competence - serving as a communication channel between end-users and IT services.Fully inform end-users regarding complaint and escalation management, including ticket closures. Understand, measure, and improve end-user satisfaction. Report systemic end-user or provider-based issues to management.Provide end-user support across business-specific applications, networks, servers, mobile devices, digital workplace platforms, and other IT services.Facilitate configuration, testing, deployment, and support of warehouse technology (Edge devices, WWAN Barcode Guns, Label Printers, Wearable Tech, etc.) necessary for successful operations of the factory.Install and upgrade computer components and software, mobile devices, and warehouse technology and integrate automation processes. Offer the highest level of customer service to users with varying degrees of technical proficiency.Document SMO Lexington IT systems and processes.Available outside business hours to support planned and unplanned incidents, testing, maintenance and other required IT activities.To thrive in this role, you have:4-year college degree (BS in IT, Business, etc.) or 0-2 years of equivalent experience.Knowledge of IT ticket handling and the ITIL process.Experience with Generative AI to create business impact.Drive innovation and change within the user community.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication is crucial.Collaborate with regional and global teams to improve the IT experience.Basic understanding of Windows 11 and Office/Microsoft 365.Experience with SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams is a plus.Flexible hours availability, including weekends, to support planned and unplanned incidents, testing, maintenance, and other required IT activities.While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.

The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
