The Item Master Administrator is responsible for keeping the Lawson Financial Suite Item Master current and correct with item adds, changes, inactivation, and deletions to items.
ResponsibilitiesVendor Relations
* Contacts vendors via telephone and e-mail to verify procurement information.
Data Integrity
* Assures accuracy of vendor item number mapping to manufacturer and MMIS item numbers.
* Manages interface between MMIS and Value Added Network exchange to maintain accurate MMIS database.
Collaboration
* Interacts with NAH Contract Specialist to assure vendor agreements are constructed correctly in regards to valid vendor units of measure, valid vendor item numbers and vendor pricing.
* Interacts with departments NAH wide to facilitate management and maintenance of existing and new Lawson templates.
* Acts as a resource to NAH Materials Management personnel regarding data accuracy and compliance with system requirements.
Training
* Performs training and education for NAH colleagues relating to MMIS use.
Documentaion
* Assists in the development of policies and procedures for MMIS functions for NAH.
Compliance/Safety
* Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner.
* Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.
* If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates.
* Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame.
