primary responsibility for design buildconfiguration testing validation and ongoing supporttroubleshooting of Epic modules and other identified associated applications supporting revenue cycle They will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining an in depth knowledge of the application functionality and acquiringutilizing knowledge of operational workflows used with the Epic systemThe Analyst will follow internal ITS CareConnect build change control and issue management policies and procedures They will complete in depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality to deliver on expected outcomes Attention to detail and customer focus are critical skills for this position Successful candidates enjoy helping others learn and adopt usage of the application They will work closely with Patient Access Services Middle Revenue Cycle and Back Office Revenue Cycle services system vendors consultants other CareConnect applications teams and technical services to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely mannerFocus Areas Patient Registration Admissions Scheduling HIM Professional Billing maintenance and support of issuesenhancements for listed Epic ApplicationsTroubleshoot research and solve technically challenging problems and customer issuesTests and verifies software releases upgrades and any changes prior to the promotion of build to the production environmentMaintain current knowledge of technology by attending appropriate continuing education trainingseminars and reading related periodicalsParticipates in new implementation installation projectsApplication level securityMaintain andor modify application work queuesMaintain andor modify application reports and dashboardsUnderstands the operational issues within their application area well enough to represent user needsAnalyzes workflow decisions and how they translate into application configurations to ensure system design reflects decisionsAnticipates and provides solutions to problems with the necessary priorities Presents solution to operational leaders within respective teamareaTroubleshoot research and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systemsAssists in the development and documentation of Standard Work Processes that will be used to support the applicationActively participates in weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities issues changes communications and updatesSupports team members with application and information systems knowledgeCollaborates with vendor resources plays an active role in managing the technical build and issue resolutionDocuments and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordinglyPerforms in depth analysis of workflows data collection report details and other technical issues associated with the use of their respective systemContributes in the preparation and execution of testing scripts and materials and performs unit system and integrated testing tasksPromotes a team atmosphere that is conducive to the overall accomplishment of goals IT experience is preferredMS Office is requiredPreferred Epic CertificationsProficiencies in related Revenue Cycle applicationsAssociates degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education training and experience in a Healthcare environment requiredBachelorrsquos degree in Information Systems Business or a Clinical area is preferredAt least years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment strongly preferredKnowledgeexperience of Revenue Cycle Operations is also preferred The ITS Application Analyst I exhibits the following qualities
