IV Clinical Strategist (Remote)
**IV CLINICAL STRATEGIST (Remote)** **Job Summary:** The IV Clinical Strategist will provide expert consultative and collaborative services to Omnicell IV customers while supporting both internal and external stakeholders. The Strategist must be highly motivated, have robust sterile compounding experience, a passion for transforming pharmacy practice, and a desire to deliver outcomes. **Responsibilities** + Guide customers on the setup and optimization of IV robotic solutions including support on design and implementation of processes within the health system related to pharmacy operations. + Assist customers with ongoing optimization of their IV robotic solutions and processes to ensure outcomes are met. + Guide best practices to ensure customer realizes the full value of their investment over the long-term. + Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Sites, and Third Party Laboratories to maintain and expand Omnicell’s central library of stability studies (Formulary Tool Kit). + Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by providing strategic customer-focused value-add consulting emphasizing outcomes, quality, responsiveness, and clinical expertise. + Assess, develop, and execute site-specific planning including production best practices, including production schedules, compounded sterile preparation batch sizes, sterility testing processes, extended beyond-use dating, and inventory management. + Provide consultation and expertise in response to customer clinical questions that arise. + Collaborate with the assigned account team to support and monitor the IV robotic solution on an ongoing basis and lead efforts to continuously improve clinical program value. + Support the development and presentation of regular IV robotic solution program updates and status reports to senior pharmacy and hospital executives at customer sites. + Act on opportunities to maximize IV robotic solutions benefits by recommending the incorporation of new product releases, features, and functions at customer sites. + Partner with Solution Advisors, Pharmacy Operations, and Customer Success Managers to actively drive site referenceability through achievement of outcomes and customer satisfaction. + Align with key departments including Sales, Product Management, Pharmacy Operations, Product Marketing, and product support to improve the IV robotics solutions. + Manage multiple implementations of IV robotic solution customers concurrently, as needed. + Provide clinical expertise and support to internal teams (marketing, R&D, sales) as needed. + Provide clinical consultation, in conjunction with sales team, to prospective customers to convey the vision of the IV robotic solutions. + Monitor and maintain expertise in industry trends such as regulatory trends, product shortages, or outsourcing changes. Provide critical updates to customer sites. **Required Knowledge and Skills** + Excellent communication skills and customer relation skills. + Ability to present effectively to senior executives. + Proficiency with MS Office– Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook + In depth understanding of hospital pharmacy operations. + Expert knowledge of sterile compounding standards (USP <797>) + Clinical skills to develop recommendations for formulary changes. + Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects. **Basic Qualifications** + PharmD or BS Pharmacy + Current Pharmacist License + 5 years health-system pharmacy experience + 3 years sterile compounding experience + 3 years experience with hospital pharmacy automation (i.e., automated dispensing cabinets, carousels, IV workflow management systems, robotics) + Valid Driver's License **Preferred Qualifications** + MBA or Advanced degree + 5 years of experience managing hospital pharmacy operations including sterile compounding programs + Project management training or experience + Lean/ Six Sigma trained + Experience working with pharmacy information systems/Electronic health records **Work Conditions** + Remote home office based + Working indoors, hospital pharmacy environment, customer environment + Working across time zones + Up to 50% travel **Additional Requirements** + Legally authorized to work in the United States without Omnicell sponsorship now or in the future + Ability to pass background and employment verification checks \#LI-JC1 \#Remote Since 1992, Omnicell has been committed to transforming pharmacy care through outcomes-centric innovation designed to optimize clinical and business outcomes across all settings of care.
