IV&V Manager

 

Babcock Australasia is seeking an experienced Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) Manager to spearhead our work on the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System and related programs across Australia and New Zealand.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Manage and inspire the IV&V team to achieve program objectives through all phases of the project. Execution: Oversee program IV&V activities from planning to delivery, ensuring high standards in documentation and technical drawings. Troubleshooting & Testing: Guide the integration, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and communication systems at multiple sites. Process Management: Manage the Trouble Report process, coordinating investigations, dispositions, and tracking burn-down to ensure project progress. Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of safety and environmental awareness, while seeking opportunities to optimize processes.

 

About You:

Expertise: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or higher), with over 10 years in a Defence environment, specializing in systems engineering and communication systems. Security Clearance: Ability to obtain an NV-1 security clearance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in requirements definition, subsystem design, integration, and commissioning, especially within RF, HF, and communications disciplines. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
