The Line Lead is accountable for the results, organizational health, and ownership of daily management systems (DMSs) on their line. The line lead is responsible for managing and improving the performance and results of their line through the rigorous application of Run-to-Target (RTT) systems, in order to support the delivery of the site’s compelling business need (CBN). The line lead spends most of their time on the floor, coaching and supporting line teams in loss prioritization, loss elimination, and the coordination of the daily work cycle on the line.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyse data for critical product and process parameters. Identify process losses with data to build Loss Tree and Loss Analysis for prioritisation of activity. Prepare and give training on process/equipment changes. Challenge and improve current systems, processes, and practices to reduce all losses and document in the 90-day plan. Participate in the daily direction-setting process – report results, flag issues and request resources. Promote and actively participate in the continuous improvement and evolution of site safety culture. About You
Degree in Engineering/ Cert IV Competitive Manufacturing 1+ years’ experience in a similar role Experience in Continuous Improvement/leadership preferred. Base understanding of the shopfloor/production operations Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools Advanced problem-solving skill & team-working skills How to Apply
