Our Food Service Packaging plant facility in Plymouth, IN is seeking Janitors that will be an integral part of the Plymouth team supporting all our departments primarily on 2nd Shift.

The Janitors is responsible for the cleanness of the buildings and operation. The starting rate is $19.10hr., plus shift differential on 2nd shifts.
How you will impact WestRock:
Continuously empty trash bins in all office spaces and other areas that hold trash in accordance with Master Clean. Clean restrooms in all buildings. Sweep floors in all office spaces and ensure desks and tabletops are free from dirt and dust. Clean all refrigerators located in the conference and employee break rooms. Ensure the employee break room is free from debris and the overall cleanliness of the room. Clean windows and mirrors when necessary. Sanitize all restrooms including sinks, flooring and toilets. Follow all SQF! cleaning/sanitation requirements related to food safety programs. Ensure housekeeping standards are met according to suggested methods from the Center for Disease Control in reference to H1N1 Flu Virus. Clean the exterior grounds and keep free of paper and other debris. Maintain housekeeping excellence in accordance with Master Clean Program. Maintain full compliance with all GMPs. Follow all safety rules and execute all job duties in a safe manner. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What you need to succeed:
High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16” measurement), do basic math, and some computer skills. Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift. Must be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently. Effective communication skills and excellent coordination skills. Great organizational and time management abilities. Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred. Must be flexible on shift. Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings, drug test and criminal background check.
