We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and help ensure a sanitary and safe workplace. **Job Summary:** The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including production areas, break rooms, restrooms, offices, common areas and parking lots. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, contributing to the overall efficiency and well-being of the workforce. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in production areas, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and other facility spaces (including grounds). + Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. + Dispose of trash, recyclables, and industrial waste in accordance with company and environmental regulations. + Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and other hygiene products in restrooms and common areas. + Clean and sanitize high-touch areas and equipment to prevent the spread of germs and contaminants. + Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. + Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department for prompt resolution. + Assist with special cleaning projects as required by management. **Schedule:** + The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Special projects may require an adjusted schedule. **Compensation:** + The rate of pay for this position is $17.50 per hour. **Benefits:** + Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance. + Paid time off and holiday pay. **Requirements** **Qualifications & Requirements:** + Previous experience in commercial housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role preferred. + Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. + Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. + Willingness to work in an industrial environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. + Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
