Other duties may be assigned: + Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, restrooms, lunch areas and other areas. + Regularly sanitize common areas throughout the plant. + Empties trash and garbage containers - inside and outside. + Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. + Some light grounds maintenance + Keeps common areas, walkways and parking areas free of debris. + Additional duties may be assigned as required. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required + Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies + Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally + Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations + Attention to detail + Ability to demonstrate professionalism + Must be able to prioritize, follow instructions and have good communication skills + Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team + Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds fairly often, and be able to move, lift and carry boxes of supplies + Must be able to withstand cold and hot temperatures in a warehouse/manufacturing environment **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
