Janitor Mine Dry - Remote Camp

Description:  

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Janitor – Mine Dry to join our Camp Services team in Northern British Columbia. The Janitors – Mine Dry are responsible for keeping our facilities clean and ensure high sanitation standards are maintained throughout the lodge.  

The rate for this position is $18.00 an hour. Rates may be subject to change.  

Responsibilities:  

Perform janitorial and cleaning duties to maintain the highest sanitation standards.  Ensure the proper order, maintenance, and cleanliness of all janitorial equipment.  Drive a company vehicle to various locations, including offices and camp spaces, to provide cleaning services.  Clean and maintain lobbies, common areas, gyms, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways.  Ensure walkways are free from snow, mud, and other debris, both inside and outside the buildings.  Sweep, scrub, wash, and polish floors, as well as clean rugs.  Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork to maintain a clean environment.  Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the appropriate disposal area.  Perform garbage removal and ensure proper disposal protocols are followed.  Replenish bathroom supplies as needed.  Handle additional janitorial or cleaning tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications:  

Minimum of 1 year of experience in janitorial, cleaning, or custodian roles (preferred).  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.  A valid driver's license is required.
