Janitorial Account Manager - Evening Shift

The Night Manager is responsible for assisting with the management of contract compliance for designated building maintenance services and maintaining the relationship between City Wide and Independent Contractors. The employee must be able to review the client contract and check that work expectations have been met. Work Hours + Monday to Friday Evenings 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM Essential Functions + Develop and maintain productive working relationships with independent contractors (ICs) and in-house labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating to solve problems. + Review the scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing and gain new business. + Communicate with Facility Solutions Managers daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone message. + Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage client standards and company guidelines, and discharge if not meeting service level agreement. + Manage inspections, customer complaints, requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment needing attention. + Execute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures. + Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use. + Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage and track client interactions, updates, and follow-ups. + Use company-provided tools, including a computer and phone, to communicate with clients and team members. + Engage with clients, independent contractors (ICs) and team members professionally via email, text, and phone to provide timely updates, respond to inquiries, and ensure excellent customer service. + Other duties as necessary. Requirements + The use of a personal vehicle is required for this role to support job-related travel (a mileage reimbursement of $500 per month will be provided to offset travel expenses). + High school diploma required + Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus! + Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement. + Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client records and tasks (training provided, if necessary) + Strong computer skills, including familiarity with email platforms and basic communication tools. + Comfortable with multi-channel communication (phone, email, text) to maintain consistent and effective contact with clients and team members. + Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish) + MUST be available on weekday evenings (Mon - Fri, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM) + Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
