Our Janitor/Security Associate perform duties responsible for the weekend security functions of the facility - monitoring overall facility security, proper furnace operation, any die cast pit water malfunctions along with any other machinery/equipment concerns. Responsible to notify appropriate parties when concerns arise as appropriate. Typically 16 to 20 hours a week.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the maintenance, neatness, cleanliness, and safety of the facility.Responsible for maintaining the process of the recycling systems: cardboard, coolant, and machining chips.Perform inspections as necessary to verify that the designated equipment or machine is functioning within condition limits for the purpose intended.Maintain supply inventory and submits orders through appropriate sources in order to ensure adequate supply at all times.Must comply with work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested and completing work orders per instruction.Performs a variety of cleaning tasks including but not limited to:Mopping, sweeping, trash collection and removal, and restroom and break area cleaning.Operates floor scrubber on an as needed basis.Cleans and sanitizes water fountains, floors, walls, windows, doors, blinds, bathroom fixtures, etc.Replenish restroom supplies such as paper products and soap dispensers as needed; this also includes paper towel dispensers.Move furniture and equipment as assigned.Assist in snow removal and salting of doorways and areas adjacent to the building.Monitor and maintain the outside cleanliness of the facility and parking lots.Ensures all light fixtures are operational, changes light bulbs as necessary.Reports to supervisor items needing attention: makes simple repairs and adjustments including unstopping toilet(s) as requested.Why You'll Love Working for Us:
