The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained across assigned facilities. + Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, assigning tasks and creating work schedules + Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained + Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed + Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies + Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner + Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment + Collaborate with management to develop and improve cleaning processes and procedures + Prepare and submit regular reports on cleaning operations and staff performance + Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members **Qualifications** + 3-5 years of janitorial experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role + High school diploma or equivalent + WHMIS certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) + Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and industrial cleaning standards + Excellent team management and leadership skills + Proficiency in creating and managing staff schedules + Experience with inventory management and supply ordering + Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the janitorial industry + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills + Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail + Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and best practices + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed + Physical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrations **Additional Information** Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
