We are seeking a professional and organized Janitorial Site Supervisor to join our team in Cold Lake, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained across assigned facilities.
Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, assigning tasks and creating work schedulesConduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintainedManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as neededTrain new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policiesAddress and resolve any client concerns or complaints in a timely and professional mannerImplement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environmentCollaborate with management to develop and improve cleaning processes and proceduresPrepare and submit regular reports on cleaning operations and staff performanceConduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team membersQualifications3-5 years of janitorial experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory roleHigh school diploma or equivalentWHMIS certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and industrial cleaning standardsExcellent team management and leadership skillsProficiency in creating and managing staff schedulesExperience with inventory management and supply orderingThorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the janitorial industryOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsProven problem-solving abilities and attention to detailFamiliarity with workplace safety protocols and best practicesAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededPhysical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrationsAdditional InformationDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
