Job Description

Review translations of patent specifications (particularly understanding of technologies is required). Review and check the original text against the translation for errors and omissions, and finish the translation to match the style of the patent specification. Available positions:
Japanese to English reviewer in mechanical field
Japanese to English reviewer in chemical field

Requirements

Excellent proficiency in both Japanese and English. Patent translation experience or working experience as an engineer or a patent attorney. Excellent communication skills and friendly and respectful attitude.

Preferred conditions

Expertise in mechanical or chemical fields. If possible, be able to come to Japan for the initial training period (maximum one week).

Working hours

8 working hours. Flexible time system with 60-minute break. Core time 10:00-15:00 in Japan Time.
