About the Role
As a Java Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex cloud-native microservices applications using modern technologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms like Azure, with experience building and deploying scalable, resilient, and maintainable microservices architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps

• Deploy and manage microservices on Azure cloud platforms, such as Azure Container Apps

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation

• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Have experience with Java programming language, including object-oriented principles and design patterns.

• Have experience building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot framework.
• Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing frameworks for Java microservices.
• Have an understanding of microservices principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Be able to create and manage Docker containers, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
• Have experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps
• Possess knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, deployments, services, and configuration management.
• Have knowledge data storage subsystems.
•Have experience of Git for code version control and collaboration on GitHub .
• Be familiar with monitoring tools and logging practices for distributed systems.
• Be able to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication
