What You Will Do      

We are looking for an experienced ­­­Backend Software Engineer to join our North American development team and take part in building Forescout’s next generation of cloud security products. You will work with a team of backend and full stack engineers and take part in building innovative and scalable applications in a cloud environment. If you want to write great code, help secure global networks, and have a desire to solve challenging problems then this role is for you!      

Collaborate with developers, DevOps, data scientists, QA and product management throughout the development cycle in an Agile environment for Forescout cloud products Research and draft design proposals for new solutions Write and maintain well-designed code Conduct peer code reviews Investigate and resolve arising operational issues Bring knowledge of best practices for software developmentWhat You Bring To Forescout        US citizenship or permanent residency for federal projectsBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent5+ years of experience writing code in Java1+ years of Azure cloud services including Azure ADE, ADF, and Cosmos DB1+ years of experience with data engineering and/or data analytics1+ years of Kubernetes and Docker containerizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work efficiently with remote teams in different time zonesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Linux environmentsPreferred Skills        1+ years of experience with computer networking engineering experienceDevelopment of cybersecurity applications or working in the cybersecurity industry in generalTerraform IaC experienceCompliance audit and/or government review processes like FedRAMP or SOC2
