Java Developer
**CTG is seeking to fill a Java Developer opening for our client in Garden City, KS.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Java and web technologies. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical architecture and application requirements. + Develop and implement enterprise-level applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability. + Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Provide technical leadership to junior developers and help them grow their skills. + Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the use of best practices. + Assist in the creation of technical documentation and ensure compliance with architectural standards. **Skills:** + Strong proficiency in Java development and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs). + Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE. + Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). + Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js). + Strong knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. + Experience with microservices architecture and API integration. + Proficiency in version control systems such as Git. + Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). + Ability to work in an Agile development environment. **Experience:** + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development and web technologies. + Experience with digital transformation and modern enterprise applications. + Experience working with Microsoft 365 (MS Office) and other collaboration tools is a plus. + Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. + Experience in leading or mentoring junior developers. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). The expected base salary for this position ranges from $$65.00/hour to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
