Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Java Developer with a solid background in banking and money transfer domain. This hybrid role, based on the Asian side of Istanbul, is ideal for a developer who thrives in an environment focused on building secure and efficient banking applications, particularly for money transfer solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications related to banking and money transfers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Work on both backend development and integration of payment systems, ensuring secure and reliable transaction processing. Implement efficient, scalable, and secure solutions that meet industry standards and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot and optimize application performance to ensure a seamless user experience. Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Developer, with specific expertise in banking and money transfer systems. Strong proficiency in Java. Familiarity with payment gateway integrations and banking transaction systems. Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and RESTful APIs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, hybrid environment. Willingness to work in a hybrid setup, based in the Asian side of Istanbul. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Familiarity with security protocols for financial transactions.
