We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications on GCP while ensuring the efficient integration of cloud services with Java-based backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services on the Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud solutions using GCP services (e.g., App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Integrate GCP-native services and tools to enhance functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build cloud-based solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and related frameworks.
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Java development (3+ years).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Functions, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and solutions on GCP.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
