The Regulatory Engineering team builds sophisticated applications and systems that help the firm file regulatory reports to various exchanges and regulators across the globe. The regulatory obligations cover all non-financial reporting across major businesses and asset classes in the firm. The applications and systems have the requirements to process very high volume of data in a short time in order for the firm to meet the tight regulatory SLAs.
YOUR IMPACT
As a software developer in Regulatory Engineering, you will be building the next generation of regulatory reporting platform, navigating through challenging regulatory requirements to meet accuracy, completeness, and timeliness measures with robust control and monitoring in place. You will be using wide arrays of technologies including, but not limited to, Java, Messaging Brokers (EMS, Apache Kafka), databases (RDBs, NoSQL), large scale data processing (Apache Spark, Hadoop / HDFS, Sybase IQ).

Core Java Developer with 4+ years of experienceExperience of developing and managing high volume, distributed, real-time transaction processing systemsFamiliarity with Test Driven Development Experience with OO design, performant data structures and algorithms.Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)Linux / Unix skills including scripting (shell)Emerging leader with ability to guide/grow junior talent in the teamBeneficial background knowledge/experience... Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115000-$180000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
