You Are:
UST is looking for Java Senior Engineer to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading financial services organization in the US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. The candidate must have experience in analysis, design, development, maintenance, and support activities.
The opportunity:
· Review technology requirements and business processes; code, test, debug, and implement software solutions.
· Provide engineering support in the conceptualization, development, implementation, and automation of technical capabilities and products.
· Write and implement efficient, maintainable code across both front-end and back-end technologies.
· Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability, and the use of best practices.
· Participate in collaborative technical discussions focusing on software user experience, design, architecture, and development.
· Perform demonstrations for client stakeholders on project features and sub-features, utilizing the latest front-end and back-end development technologies.
· Provide production support, troubleshoot production issues, analyze the root cause of the issues, and implement fixes.
· Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
· Confer with other systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
· Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
· Conduct technical reviews with other programmers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering and scientific personnel.
· Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
· Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding.
· 8+ years of experience in designing and developing full-stack applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
· Strong experience with front-end UI technologies, including JavaScript, React, AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
· Strong background in Data Engineering and building data platforms.
· Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka.
· Knowledge of Postgres/Oracle/MySQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J).
· A solid understanding of security practices.
· Experience in unit and automation testing (Jasmine, Protractor, JUnit).
· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Arizona
Compensation Range: $82,000-$125,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
