Java Production Support Engineer(onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Core Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to drive projects to successful completion. Should have worked with production support.

Location: Rocklin, CA

Experience: 8 to 12 years

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Core Java.

- Oversee the implementation of software projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

- Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the specified timeframes and budget constraints. - Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, code, and processes. -

Qualifications :

• Possess a strong technical background with 8 to 12 years of experience in Spring Boot Microservices and Core Java.

• Demonstrate expertise in designing and developing complex software solutions.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Show proficiency in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.

• Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.

• Display strong collaboration and communication skills working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Stay current with industry trends and technologies incorporating them into the development process.

• Have experience in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

• Demonstrate the ability to deliver projects within specified timeframes and budget constraints.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs code and processes.

• Possess domain skill experience in updating customer master (nice to have).

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will range between $93,500 to $105,500 and will depend on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
