Experience designing and building APIs’ for credit card transactions, loan and banking transactions a MUST. The Business Financing Solutions (BFS) team at the client is responsible for building Business Loan products that have already originated more than $7 Billion in funding to almost 100,000 businesses.  We call it “Dream Fuel”.  BFS products give businesses access to the capital they need, but faster and easier than traditional loans. The impact we have on our customers’ businesses is what drives us to innovate. The software engineer with the BFS team will be designing technical solutions, working with stakeholders to ensure we develop the correct product for the job at hand implementing of those solutions in an agile environment.  Need is for a passion for quality and writing clean, solid code that scales and performs well.  We are looking for the highest levels of technical talent and programming skills, as well as a keen desire to understand our products and services to push our technology forward with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major Java development experience, with Java 8 features Experience with common Java APIs and frameworks including JAX-RS, Hibernate, JPA and JMS Experience with Spring Boot Understand the concepts around concurrency and transactions Experience working with SQL databases Experience with RESTful API design Experience with test frameworks, particularly Junit and TestNG Experience with Maven or other build tools is a bonus Understanding of Continuous Delivery concepts Strong programming fundamentals and analytical skills Sharp learning curve and open to learn/work in new technologies Good communication and team building skills Basic knowledge of web application servers (Glassfish, Tomcat, JBoss)
