We have an outstanding Contract position for a Java Software Engineer to join a leading Company located in the San Diego, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $100-112 per hour
**U.S. Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**
Principal Software Engineer with Java, Java Spring Boot and 8+ years of backend or full-stack development. Ideal candidate will take part in cross-discipline software architecture definition and implementation of backend development, APIs, containers, databases, and automated pipelines.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearanceBachelor's Degree or higher in a computer related fieldStrong software architecture, design, and development experience using Java and RESTful services.Experience developing RESTful microservices using Java Spring Boot8+ years of software and backend developmentEffective communication skills (both verbal and written)Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settingsExperience with Agile software developmentFull stack development with UI like Angular, ReactJS, VueJSExperience in cloud-based concepts such as AWS or AzureKnowledge of the DevSecOps development processExperience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, RedisExperience with Docker, Helm, KubernetesExperience with Git
