Java Technical Lead

This experience must include a minimum of five (5) years as a technical/task lead, providing technical direction to lower-level staff. + 10+ years** of experience as a **Full Stack Developer**, including hands-on experience in **PL/SQL, Unix, Java, and JavaScript**. + Certifications required in Java and Oracle technologies. + 10+ years in: SQL, Oracle PL/SQL for developing packages, stored procedures, functions etc. for enterprise grade applications. + Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models. + Proficiency in Python programming and related libraries for AI. + Knowledge about TensorFlow or similar frameworks for AI. + Expertise in cloud development, architecture, deployment and troubleshooting of applications in known Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP). + Knowledge about terraform to define and mange infrastructure as a code for cloud services. + Cloud certifications on major cloud platforms are advantageous. + 10+ years of progressively more complex programming experience in large scale information system environments. + Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL optimization. + 8+ years of experience in **Unix/Linux** scripting and system administration. + Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management or equivalent. **Roles & Responsibilities:** + Demonstrating proficiency with Data Modelling concepts and UML like ER Diagram. + Working Experience in Data extraction, Transmission and Loading (ETL) jobs development and maintenance using spring batch, shell script, SQL loader etc. for bulk processing of large datasets. + Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of microservices, web applications and ML models. + Expertise in **Java** backend development, with a good understanding of frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka etc. + Proficiency in **JavaScript** and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue). + Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs. + Understanding of using enterprise grade monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) for setting up dashboards and alerts. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members. + Good understanding with Agile methodologies (e.g. Jira or similar tools) for tracking progress of tasks. + Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git, Gitlab) for maintaining code repositories and implementing branching strategies per needs. + Conducting technical design reviews for major proposed solutions by the team. + Identifying and addressing technical and functional gaps in applications to minimize systemic issues and to reduce manual workaround efforts. + Leading the team towards the best practices and facilitate efficient collaboration with other application teams. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $96,250 - $125000.
