Department OverviewThe Astro Base Station Software department, part of Motorola Solutions, is one of the teams which develops mission-critical public safety ASTRO® 25 communication system and we are responsible for delivering software for ASTRO® 25 site equipment:

Our products are developed by self-organizing Agile teams which have end to end responsibility for the whole software development process, starting from requirements definition and decomposition, through software development, integration and testing until final system validation and delivery to our customers.
Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Software Java Test Automation Engineer who will play a critical and active role in the software validation process which includes creation of new components for the test environment, automation of new and existing test scenarios and debugging complex automated test’s failures. Software Test Automation Engineer diagnoses and identifies test infrastructure issues, validates solutions for non-trivial problems and looks for improvements in a daily job. An important part of work is knowledge and experience sharing with other team members (test and software engineers).

Basic Requirements

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Good communication skills to work effectively with multiple scrum teams

Willingness to learn

Focus on quality and attention to details

Java knowledge

Experience in Java

Effective verbal and written English communication skills

Test methodologies knowledge

Availability 32 hours per week or Full Time.

At least one year cooperation (Contract of Employment only)

Availability to work 2 days a week from our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82)

Following skills will be a plus:

Very good knowledge of Java 17

Knowledge of computer networks design and configuration

Experience in Linux

Experience in Agile methodologies

Telecommunication standards knowledge (APCO25)
