**Job Responsibilities**
1. Provide customer service in the areas of attendance, payroll, benefits, policies/procedures, position openings, completion of HR forms either in person or by phone
2. Will cross-train and provide back-up services to other Human Resource Assistants in the department
3. Perform other administrative duties as requested
4. Maintain personnel records; maintain confidentiality of all employee records and information.
5. Utilize the HR system to input data, access information, respond to questions and generate reports.
6. Hours will be 1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
**Minimum Qualifications**

***** Strong attention to details
***** Proficient in computer skills or able to learn
***** Ability to work independently and in a team environment
***** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (ability to work with confidential materials)
***** Good work history/behavior/performance record
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bilingual Skills
***** Two years’ experience in Human Resource related work IBM AS/400 and HRIS 2000 skills, based on experience or training
***** Vocational Administrative Assistant/Clerical Degree or equivalent one-year related experience

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.25-$24.25 per year/hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
