Perform advanced repair and preventative maintenance of various equipment systems and buildings, including technical service of these areasAbility to meet internal and external customer expectationsMust be able to work scheduled weekends and holiday hoursMust be able to work overtime hours

Minimum Qualifications

Read and understand, interpret electronic and electrical schematics for environment controllers and alarm systemsHigh school diploma or equivalentGood oral communication skillsStrong organizational skills managing own workload and maintain inventoriesValid Wisconsin Driver's License with good operating recordUnderstand and perform computer functions on alarms and ventilation controllersPerformance results must have met expectations in attendance, dependability, performance, quality, behavior, cooperation and safetyPHYSICAL: No restrictions doing repetitive activities of lifting, bending, twisting and climbingMust be able to work in a hot and dusty environment with ammonia presentNo restrictions of wearing personal protective devices

Preferred Qualifications

Vocational degree related agricultural confinement building systems and maintenanceFour years of verifiable experience in repair of assets and equipment of poultry production facilitiesAdvanced training in diagnosing problems and repair of environmental controllers and alarm systems

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $21.25 - $29.75 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
