Jennie-O Turkey Store - PT Breeder Operator - Barron, WI

Job Responsibilities

Perform daily farm activities and chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, working on farm equipment as outlined and described in department operating manuals Help employees with safety, productivity, and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions and problem solving Ability to work holidays

 Minimum Qualifications

Reliable transportation to and from assigned farms Ability to work every other weekends and holidays 9th grade math level, reading and writing skills PHYSICAL: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist occasionally Must be able to wear eye and respiratory protection equipment continually

Preferred Qualifications

Valid driver's license with good record High school diploma or equivalent Two years farm experience

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hiring pay range for this role is $19.40, 6 months $19.60, 1 year $20.10 per hour.
