What You Will Do:

The F119-PW-100 turbofan is the first operational 5th Generation fighter engine. It combines stealth technologies and vectored thrust with high thrust-to-weight performance to provide unprecedented maneuverability and survivability.   

We are in search of a Jet Engine Technician -F119 Military Program with expertise in Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance (JEIM). The Jet Engine Technician – F119 Military Program will support the delivery of quality products to our customers.

Perform full intermediate-level maintenance and repair on F119-PW-100 and perform routine maintenance of support equipment

Support RTX's Environmental Health and Safety culture by completing required training sessions

Document maintenance and inspections; work atop maintenance platforms, ascend/descend maintenance stands and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Provide local support for investigations and process improvement activities; and perform additional tasks that support the customers as well as the program’s business objectives

Qualifications You Must Have: 

High School diploma or GED

Experience using Microsoft Office

Able to lift 25 lbs.

Be eligible to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance within 1 year

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer:

Airframe & Powerplant licensed

Experience with jet engine maintenance including tear-down, build-up and inspections

Skilled at using precision measuring tools

Familiarity with:

AFI 21-101

2-1-111

00-20-1/2/3

Located at:  Hickam Airfield, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii

1st shift options depending on customers’ needs can be one of the following:

4x10 5:00 AM-3:30PM Monday -Thursday

5x8 5:30 AM-2:30PM Monday -Friday

Pay for this role is up to $50.00 per hour.
