Job Description  PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: JUVENILE JUSTICE AND WELFARE COUNCIL

We wish to inform you that the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) has one (1) vacant contract of service position with details as follows:

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III

Salary Grade              :           SG 9

Compensation             :           Php 17,975.00

Place of Assignment   :           Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council National

                                               Secretariat

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          :  Completion of two (2) year studies in college

Experience        :  One (1) years of relevant experience

Training             :  Four (4) hours of relevant training

Eligibility            :  None required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          :  Preferrably at least 3rd year in college and course being taken is  

                             Bachelor’s degree in Busines Administration major in Accounting,

                             Financial management, management or IT related course

Experience        :  One (1) year experience in Accounting-related functions

Training             :  Four (4) hours relevant training in Accounting

Eligibility            :  None required

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant III is responsible in the monitoring and recording of RJJWC liquidation reports, preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements and reconciliation of various accounts in the accounting books.

Job Outputs:

-       RJJWC liquidation reports

-       Bank Reconciliation Statements

-       Other accounting and reconciliation reports

 Job Tasks/Primary Tasks;

1.    Assists in the monitoring of RJJWC liquidation reports

2.    Posts/encodes RJJWC liquidation reports in e-NGAS.

3.    Prepares monthly bank reconciliation statements and other pertinent mandatory reports.

4.    Acts as alternate UDCO

5.    Assists in filing of processed /paid disbursement vouchers for submission to COA

6.    Assists in posting/encoding of financial transactions into the Electronic National Government Accounting System (E-NGAS) and Unified Reporting System (URS)

7.    Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the SAO and CAO

7.    Photocopy of Transcript of Records
