About the Role:

Purpose: Under the general guidance and supervision of the Security Manager, within the limits of Security policies and procedures, is responsible for the safety and security of colleagues, guests, property, confidential information, and Jumeirah’s company image

The key duties of a Security Officer will include:

Is responsible for reporting any incidents or issues regarding above-stated ‘Purpose’ Is responsible for following Security’s Standard Operating Procedures at all times, for all duties Any additional duties as instructed by the Security Manager /Assistant Security Manager Whilst on duty in the Security Control Room, is responsible for the monitoring of the CCTV system, fire alarm panel, panic alarm system, all telephones (including emergency), maintenance of files, and cleanliness of the office Is responsible for the issuing of contractor and visitor passes, issuing of keys, maintaining the integrity of the loading bay area (with the help of contract security), and carrying out random staff checks, to prevent hotel property being removed without a Property Removal Form. Responsible for controlling access to the hotel ,as per SOP’s, and reporting all relevant incidents Performs all duties common to Security Officers, as well as any other tasks, as stipulated by the Security Team Leader, Assistant Security Managers, Security Managers.
