HOW A KNOWLEDGE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Establish, implement, and execute Standard Operating Procedures for Knowledge Management of JMSC-IP information

Operate and maintain current and future knowledge management systems and tools, such as MS Outlook, Army 365 SharePoint, and MS Teams

Create, modify, and maintain the Army365 MTC SharePoint and MS Teams portals accessible to unclassified users via the Government-provided Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and accessible to classified users via the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET); create SharePoint portal to feature both outward-facing and inward-facing sites  

Establish a procedure for granting access to knowledge management systems and tools to the Contractor and Government staff

Provide content management for all KM systems and tools

Conduct Knowledge Management training as required

Perform other duties as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Information Science, Computer Science or Business Admin

Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience; (military experience preferred; MTC experience preferred)

Required Technical Skills: Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certification preferred; Extremely proficient with Knowledge Management Systems Tools (i.e. SharePoint, MS Teams, etc); Experience with Content Management Systems tools (e.g. WordPress); Understanding of SEO principles

Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance required (can start with Interim Secret)

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; superb organizational skills; Expert with Microsoft Office suite of tools; Expert knowledge of all current collaboration tools; capable to handle multiple tasks

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
