Chrysalis is a company that provides a variety of support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles that have developmental and intellectual disabilities. These individuals also have a variety of fragile medical issues. This position requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, make crucial decisions in regards to the care and treatment of at-risk individuals, and possess the ability to communicate those decisions effectively to others. The Job Coach Lead Staff will be assigned to a Job Coach Manager and supervise Job Coaches as needed. This entry-level position has a competitive wage range of $17-$18.50.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively to the individualsPunctuality and regular/consistent attendance at the worksite are required and the employee must be able adhere to their workplace schedule in order to ensure proper oversight of individuals. Stay awake, responsive, and communicate effectively to the individualsConduct Work Strategy Assessments within required time framesAssist with VR summaries and make sure they are written appropriately and on timeCompile VR summaries each Friday by 5:00 pmAssist in gathering the USOR-93 by the 5th of eachAudit the USOR- 93 for accuracy and required informationcoordinate with employment sitesAssist with developing the job coaches at the various employment sitesCoordinate schedulesAttend correlation/mentor meeting with the managersSupervise Job Coaches as needed in absence of the Job Coach ManagerBuild relationships with employersSupport the individual’s choicesProvide a clean, healthy, and safe environmentImplement Person Centered PlansSupervise individuals according to the Supervision GuidelinesFollow Behavioral PlansOther duties as assigned by the supervisorRequirements
